Car buying can be a long, painful process. And, we’ve all talked to a friend that “got a great deal at…”
What if you could access recent, relevant quotes from hundreds of others buying the same car?
Or, what if you could have someone negotiate a deal for you?
Tire Kcker is a startup and idea conceived by my sister, former-Audi exec. As designer and partner, I helped her align the UX and design to the needs and goals of users and our mission. As women, we have felt the discrimination that comes with car buying and the inevitable feeling of being taken advantage of because of gender. So, we decided to disrupt the industry.
The product has evolved over time from an app to an email bot that can haggle deals for you greatly reducing the amount of time spent searching and negotiating.
In our first product phase, users were able to see how much money they may be leaving on the table during negotiations. App users can share negotiated offers, so they can help other users gain more relevant knowledge of the current pricing and deals.
According to a 2015 Gallup Poll, only 8% of people rated car salesman as highly trustworthy.
Users can save and compare interesting deals to "My List".
The second phase of Tire Kcker was an artificial intelligence email bot that would send emails on your behalf to car dealerships to get a great price.
Get notified as new negotiations come in and easily accept or decline from your email or app. We'll use each new offer to drive other offers down, until you have the best deal on the car you want. All without you even needing to negotiate with a salesperson.
